13:00 Official opening of the Whitefish Day by our mascot Rändur Rääbis
Together, we prepare the scarecrow Kurjavaimu Nolk (“Wretched Punk”) from Pavel Varunin’s fairy-tale book Rääbu (The Whitefish) in the garden.
An illustration in calligraphy on the basis of the fairy-tale book Rääbu – the painting and gilding techniques are introduced by Pavel Varunin, author and illustrator of Rääbu.

The Whitefish Day is organised within the framework of the project A Year of Handicrafts at Peipsimaa Visitor Centre 2015 of MTÜ Piiri Peal as part of the Whitefish Month. The activities for children and teenagers are supported by the Cultural Programme for Lake Peipus Area and MISA.
